Argosaronikos Fishfarms has been building decades of expertise in the responsible production of high-quality Mediterranean fish. We are specialized in the farming of sea bream, sea bass, and meagre, cultivated under carefully controlled conditions that respect both the natural marine environment and the highest standards of fish welfare.

This is how it all started…

I founded Argosaronikos Fish Farms in 1987, driven by my lifelong love for the sea. From those early days, my vision was to create a modern aquaculture facility that could combine innovation with tradition. Today, we have a fully integrated operation, including a hatchery, advanced nursery units, sea-based feeding stations, and a state-of-the-art packaging and standardization center.

Throughout our journey, I’ve made it a priority to stay true to the principles that inspired me from the start: pride in our work, uncompromising quality, and sustainable production in a clean, controlled environment. Over the years, we’ve navigated the “oceans of knowledge and development,” growing and innovating while never losing sight of these core values.

Our facilities are located on the historic island of Salamina, a place that has always inspired me. Salamina was home to the Homeric King Ajax of Telamon and the tragic poet Euripides, and it is remembered for the decisive naval battle in 480 BC, where the Greeks stopped the Persian Empire from invading Europe. The island is blessed with two beautiful pine forests—Faneromeni in the north and Kanakia in the south—which stretch down to the pristine beaches of Pirgiakoni Bay, where our farms now thrive.

Here, in this extraordinary natural environment, I am proud to combine my passion for the sea with modern aquaculture expertise, producing Mediterranean fish that are fresh, high-quality, and raised with care.

We Export our Products throughout Europe and the World

Our entire production is dedicated exclusively to export markets. Argosaronikos supplies fresh Mediterranean fish to a wide network of European countries as well as to the United States, meeting the strict quality, safety, and traceability requirements of international markets.

Growth with respect for the environment

we operate in the pristine, crystal-clear waters of Pirgiakoni Bay, located at the edge of the protected Kanakion forest. This unique natural setting provides ideal conditions for responsible aquaculture while demanding a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.
